bg remover processes your images entirely inside your own web browser. Your photos are never uploaded to, stored on, or seen by our servers or any third party. We do not require an account, and we do not sell your data.

2. Images you process

The background-removal feature runs locally on your device using in-browser technology (WebAssembly). When you upload or drop an image into the editor, that image is loaded into your browser's memory and processed there. The image is not transmitted to our servers. When you close or reload the page, the image is discarded from memory. We keep no copies of your images.

3. Information we collect

Because processing happens on your device, we collect very little information:

Language preference: stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so the site remembers your chosen language. This never leaves your device.
Approximate country: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may detect the country associated with your IP address in order to show the site in an appropriate language. We do not store this information.
Basic technical logs: like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically process standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and time of request) to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse.

4. Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage only to remember your language selection. You can clear this at any time from your browser settings.

5. Advertising

We may display advertisements provided by Monetag. Monetag may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. These technologies may be managed through your browser settings.

6. Third-party services

To deliver the app we load certain resources (fonts, icons and the processing engine) from trusted content-delivery networks. These providers may receive standard request information (such as your IP address) needed to serve those files. We do not share your images with them.
